Lizzie Baugh, 27, is a 5* event rider based in Nottinghamshire. Horses have always been a huge part of her life and she has been riding for as long as she can remember.
Lizzie represented Great Britain at the 2017 and 2018 young rider European Championships with a horse called Quarry Man, who she produced from a five-year-old all the way through to 4* level. The pair enjoyed many wins at National and International events, with top 10 finishes at 4* and a win in the AU25 at Belton in 2019.
More recently her homebred B Exclusive has given Lizzie invaluable experience at the highest levels of the sport. Together they won the 4*S at Chatsworth 2023, placed sixth Blenheim 4*L 2022 and sixth at Bramham 4*L 2023. B Exclusive also gave Lizzie her first 5* experience at Burghley in 2024.
Her younger horses are also progressing up through the grades very well, with Piltown Concorde already having a 3* win to his name along with many wins at Intermediate level. Chac finished 2024 by successfully stepping up to 3*, finishing second at Little Downham. Calida Spice is also an international winner and completed her 2024 season by finishing fifth at Le Lion in the seven-year-old World Championships.
Lizzie is looking forward to continuing to develop her horses up through the levels and gaining more experience at 5* level.
