This category will be undertaken by event grooms who have gained experience over the years working with riders who have competed at all levels up to and including the Olympics. We will cover all of the following areas and more: getting the horse ready for the trot up; looking after the legs post xc at the short and long format; clean sport and the importance of no cross contamination; packing the lorry for a long format; morning checks at home and away at competition; treating horses as individuals; and a week in the life of a groom at Badminton.
